- Monas (National Monument)
This is the Icon of Jakarta. If you just want to get inside the area, it cost you nothing. If you want to get to the top of Monas, there's a fee. But I think if you just enter the area, it's enough (I never get to the top actually but entered the area several times). You can also watch a free water fountain show every Saturday and Sunday at 7.30 and 8.30. Each show is 20 minutes long. This is one of the fountain show that I've seen.

- Public Library
Actually, Jakarta has many public libraries. I wrote about one of the public libraries in Jakarta before here. The biggest public library is in the National Library of Indonesia (Perpustakaan Nasional). The National Library is relatively new in Jl. Merdeka Selatan, since 2017. The library was claimed as the tallest library building in the world according to this news. Most public library in Jakarta requires you to have DKI Jakarta identity (KTP) to borrow books, but the National Library only requires you to have any Indonesian KTP. Another library that I have entered is Bank Indonesia public library.

Because of Asian Games, some places are renovated to make sure Jakarta looks best for the international event. One of that place is Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) sports complex. The free part of GBK is the park and jogging area. I actually never run in the area, but some of my friends like to run in GBK. It is actually a very large area in Senayan, there are 10 gates to enter this sports complex.

National Gallery (Galeri Nasional) is a museum that shows various fine arts from the Indonesian and non-Indonesian artist. From the website. From the website (http://galeri-nasional.or.id/), you can get the information about what exhibition is currently happening there. National Gallery is located at Jl. Medan Merdeka Timur, Central Jakarta near the National Monument and Gambir Station.
- Mozilla Community Space
The best thing to describe this place is co-working space. Located at Gedung Tifa, Annex Suite Jl. Kuningan Barat I No.26, you will confuse if you first came here. This co-working space is not actually inside the building but you will find this in front of the building near the parking lot for the motorcycle. For information about activities that are held here, you can always check their website (https://mozilla.or.id/en/space/events.html) or Instagram. Most of the event is tech-related, but anyone is welcomed to join the event :)

Free Double Decker bus for you in Jakarta! So apparently, you can ride a free double-decker styled bus in Jakarta. This bus has 3 routes that serve a different purpose: History of Jakarta, Modern Jakarta, and Art and Culinary. You can take the bus from any spot with 'Bus Wisata' sign. If you want, you can book the bus for your groups but I think that won't be free haha.

There are actually many parks in Jakarta but one of the best parks is Lapangan Banteng located near Jakarta Cathedral in Central Jakarta. Lapangan Banteng is just revitalized in 2018 and consists of The Monument (Liberation of West Irian), Sports Zone and Park Zone. Like in the National Monument, we can see fountain show in Lapangan Banteng too. Another good free park that you can enjoy includes Ayodya Park, Cattleya Park, and Suropati Park.
